  1. ====== Band Plan for Windows(TM) DEMO Version Instructions ======

  4. Band Plan is a graphical representation of U.S. amateur privileges
  5. from 160 meters to 23 centimeters.  It contains mode and frequency
  6. information for Novice, Technician, Technician +, General, Advanced,
  7. and Extra licensees.  It is designed as a quick reference guide that
  8. can be kept on-screen or minimized.  This DEMO version only has the
  9. capability to display bands that have NOVICE privileges.  The complet
  10. version has all U.S. amateur bands from 160 meters to 23 cm.  Both
  11. versions (1.2) require:
  12.  
  13. 1)Microsoft Windows(TM) version 3.x running in Standard or 386 en-
  14. hanced mode.  (Real mode or Windows 1.x or 2.x is NOT supported)
  15. 2)VGA.
  16. 3)A printer capable of printing graphics is desirable but NOT 
  17. required.

  19. BPWIN1_2.ZIP contains the following files:
  20. BPWIN.EXE    The actual program (DEMO Version)
  21. BP.HLP       The help file
  22. BPORDER.TXT  An order form for the complete version
  23. README.TXT   This file

  25. After un-compressing the files, place all of them in an appropriate
  26. directory.  
  27.  
  28. To add Band Plan for Windows(TM) to a program group:
  29.  
  30. 1) Open the group window for the group you want to add to.
  31. 2) Choose New from the File menu.  The New Program Object dialog
  32.    box appears.
  33. 3) Select Program Item and choose OK.  The Program Item Properties
  34.    dialog box appears.
  35. 4) Type a description for the program item in the Description text
  36.    box.  The description is a label for the program item icon that
  37.    represents the program file in the group window.
  38. 5) Type the name of the program file, including the extension and
  39.    full path in the Command Line text box.
  40. 6) Choose OK.  Program Manager will select the appropriate icon and
  41.    display it and the label you gave the program.

  43. To run Band Plan for Windows(TM):
  44.  
  45. 1) Double Click the icon.
  46.
